Show HN: Ytd – an intuitive, free, simple YouTube downloader for Mac

Like many of you, I am a huge fan of YouTube videos, where I have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to through sharing and learning. I looked around for a simple app to download YouTube videos and playlists on my Mac. There are a few on the market, but the ones I tried were not free, were clunky, and were overcomplicated for what they should do seamlessly.

I am excited to introduce ytd, a YouTube downloader app for macOS.

It's free to download, with no account setup and no purchase. More importantly, it is intuitive, with a simple UI/UX.

Download it, use it, and let me know whether you like it or not. If you have suggestions, drop me a note.
